You’re already supporting existing leaders — but building the pipeline beneath them is harder.
Generic courses aren’t delivering the impact you need, and scaling quality development feels out of reach.
iLEAD changes that: evidence-based, fully online, and personalised from day one — without the resource overhead of traditional programmes.
In most organisations, high-quality leadership development is reserved for a carefully chosen few: the top 5–10% of employees, typically selected by managers based on visibility and familiarity rather than objective potential.
The result is a system that looks like a meritocracy but functions like a closed club.
The people who get developed are often the most visible, the most confident, or simply the best fit for an unspoken idea of what a leader looks like.
Everyone else is left to figure it out on their own.
The talent you need is already in your organisation. The question is whether you’re developing it.
iLEAD is the world’s only online, self-paced leadership development programme that uses powerful psychometrics and deep diagnostics to identify what’s blocking each participant’s progress – provides a clear, personalised plan to address it.
Unlike generic leadership courses, every iLEAD participant receives:
iLEAD is scalable. It’s not a cohort programme that requires fixed dates, facilitated sessions, or significant coordination overhead.
Participants access it when it suits them, progress at their own pace, and receive development that’s personalised from day one.
That means you can extend meaningful development to far more people, without a proportional increase in L&D resource or spend.
Leadership starts from within. Before anything else, iLEAD helps each participant understand the psychological drivers behind how they lead — what fuels their growth and what holds them back.
Participants uncover how they’re wired: their motivations, communication style, resilience, and leadership traits. They learn to take charge of their internal narrative, and start leading with clarity and confidence rather than doubt.
What each participant gets: A personal mindset dashboard — their strengths, their blocks, and a clear picture of where to start.
Leadership doesn’t happen in isolation. Who your people know, how visible they are, and the relationships they’ve built all shape whether their capability gets recognised and rewarded — by you, and by the organisation.
iLEAD’s diagnostics show each participant how their current environment is fuelling or limiting their growth, and give them a concrete plan to strengthen the relationships and networks that matter most.
What each participant gets: Insight into their social capital and a targeted plan for building the visibility that leads to opportunity.
Once mindset and environment are addressed, iLEAD identifies each participant’s specific skills gaps across three core leadership dimensions: Thought, People, and Task.
This isn’t a generic competency framework rolled out to everyone. Each participant’s diagnostics reveal their specific gaps, and their learning path is built around them. Development is targeted at the capabilities that will change how they perform and how they’re perceived.
What each participant gets: A personalised learning path targeting the capabilities their profile shows they need most.

Most digital leadership programmes deliver generic content to everyone on the platform. iLEAD starts with diagnostics — so every participant receives a development experience built around their specific profile, not a one-size-fits-all curriculum.
iLEAD also follows the MES sequence (Mindset → Environment → Skills), which addresses the barriers that most programmes ignore entirely. The result is development that changes how people think, behave, and are perceived, not just what they know.
iLEAD is designed for organisations that recognise the gap between the talent they have and the talent they’re currently developing — and want to do something meaningful about it.
It’s a good fit if your organisation:
iLEAD is designed to extend your development reach, not replace existing programmes. It’s particularly effective as a feeder into more intensive interventions — developing a wider pool of people earlier, so that by the time they enter a formal talent programme, they’re better prepared and more likely to get full value from it.
The Mindset and Environment modules also make excellent pre-work for participants attending Pearn Kandola Development Centres or face-to-face leadership programmes.
iLEAD is designed to be low-friction to deploy. Participants are set up with individual access and progress through the programme at their own pace.
There are no facilitated sessions to schedule or cohort timelines to manage. Your role as an L&D team is primarily to identify participants, assign licences, and track progress. We provide onboarding support and account management throughout. (Plus, we can also provide one-to-one coaching and/or dedicated development centres if you’re looking for something higher-touch).
Yes, the Kandola+ platform includes dashboards and analytics so that you can see how your learners are progressing, as well as emerging trends across your entire cohort.
Admins can track and report on everything that happens within the platform – from recent/last logins, completion rates, and module progress, to action plan status and team profiles and more.
If you’d like a demo of the platform backend, please complete the book a demo form and indicate your interest in the comments.
Both routes work. Some organisations use iLEAD as a nominated development resource — identifying specific individuals to invite. Others make it available more broadly, with employees able to self-enrol or request access.
We can advise on the approach that works best for your context during a demo, or as a part of a review of a free trial.
As will all Kandola+ business training programmes, our dynamic, tiered pricing system is tailored to fit your size and needs. Pricing is straightforward and comes loaded with a host of complimentary benefits.
Enjoy perks like onboarding and engagement planning, and benefit from meeting with your own business psychologist every three months for expert guidance.
With Kandola+ and it’s not just a programme, it’s a partnership.
Read moreYes, iLEAD has been specifically designed and priced to enable organisations of all sizes to provide high-quality, personalised leadership training at scale. If you have fewer than 25 employees or individuals that you’d like to put through the programme each year, we recommend that you review the solo version of the course.
The content is the same for both versions, but solo licences don’t include analytics/reporting or back-end admin access.
iLEAD is not currently accredited my CIPD or other professional development body. However, all participants receive a digital certificate of completion, and the programme materials and methodology is built upon 40+ years of Pearn Kandola experience.
Yes, one-to-one coaching with a Pearn Kandola practitioner is available as an optional upgrade for iLEAD participants. Coaching can be online or in-person (anywhere across the globe).
Organisations can purchase coaching as part of a blended package, or participants can access it individually. Get in touch to talk through the options for your organisation.
The iLEAD programme was originally created by the team at Pearn Kandola, and has been adapted specifically to extend the reach of high-quality leadership development to more people through the Kandola+ learning platform.
If you’re already working with Pearn Kandola on leadership development or assessment, iLEAD integrates naturally as a scalable complement.
The Mindset and Environment modules of iLEAD make excellent pre-work or supporting material for participants attending face-to-face leadership development or Development Centres. Learners arrive better prepared, with greater self-awareness, and get significantly more from the in-person experience as a result.
Speak to your Pearn Kandola contact, or get in touch to discuss how it could work alongside your existing programme.
